Ensuring Every Child has a Happy Birthday
We create joyful moments of recognition and belonging through birthday gifts, parties, and classroom celebration kits—helping every child feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
Supporting Expecting and New Parents with Hope and Guidance
We support families during the perinatal period through free community baby showers, critical baby care items, the Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank, lactation support, and resource connection—helping parents and babies feel nourished, cared for, and supported.
Providing Families with Essential Items and Support
We help stabilize families by providing essential household, hygiene, and clothing items, and we uplift families through recognition and encouragement. Whether it’s a Basics Boutique visit, a foster-care resource bag, or a Milestone celebration for Allegheny County CYF youth, the division ensures families experience dignity, pride, and belonging during life’s most vulnerable moments.
Milestones
Our Milestone program is a special initiative with Allegheny County CYF in which we celebrate the special milestones, achievements, and accomplishments of children and youth in the foster care system.
